Welcome to the World of Knight & Dragon III
Preparing for the Journey
You will become one of the guild members dispatched to a certain village.
At first, you will be alone with no equipment. Visit the Market’s Tavern and recruit two companions.
After adding companions, visit the Market’s Weapon Shop and Armor Shop to purchase equipment for yourself and the two new members. Don’t forget to equip the purchased gear through the Guild Menu’s Member Details.
Party Formation
Once equipped, create a party through the Guild Menu’s Party Formation.
Tips for Party Formation
- Roles are important in the party. Initially, include a tank (Forge) to absorb damage and a healer (Cleric) for recovery.
- Select weapons and armor suitable for each role. For instance, prioritize sturdy armor over powerful weapons for the tank.
- Characters other than the leader will act automatically. Choose the Defensive type for tanks and the Support type for healers.
For more details on party formation, refer to About Parties.
Off to the Quest!
Once your party is ready, embark on a quest.
Quests have levels, and cleared quests can be attempted repeatedly. Even if you are wiped out, there are no penalties like equipment loss or gold reduction, except for the talisman introduced in the mid-game, so fearlessly take on new challenges.
Winning quests grants experience points and items dropped by enemies.
Every 1000 experience points lead to a level up, and specific skills are acquired as you level up according to your job. Equip new skills in the Member Details screen.
For more details on member details, refer to About Adventurers.
Party Enhancement
The items dropped by enemies can be broadly divided into two categories: equipment that can be directly used and materials used for enhancing equipment. When you obtain powerful equipment, equip it immediately. Additionally, when you gather enough materials, use the Forge menu to enhance your current equipment to strengthen your party.
Materials can also be used to improve the Market level through the investment menu. By increasing the Market level, the quality of items for sale improves, and the Market menu itself expands. It is recommended to prioritize investment.
For more details on party enhancement, refer to About Parties.
Quests and Missions
As mentioned above, the game progresses through a cycle of tackling quests, enhancing your party with the rewards, and challenging more difficult quests.
As you complete quests, you will eventually receive various missions from people. Especially, story missions requested by the Guild are critical missions involving the world’s crisis. Experience the grand story that forms the background of this game.
